Why deposit at a casino with GrabPay
GrabPay isn’t just for rides and food. For casino deposits, its advantages are very practical:
- A separate budget. Top up only the amount you want to play with, and your main bank balance stays untouched. When your GrabPay balance runs out, the session’s over.
- No account number to copy. You approve the payment in the Grab app that’s already on your phone.
- Part of the DuitNow QR network. GrabPay can pay DuitNow QR codes, so a cashier that shows a QR can usually be paid straight from the Grab app.
There are limits to factor in too. GrabPay balance and transaction limits depend on your wallet type, and a wallet that has gone through identity verification (eKYC) usually gets higher limits. If you’re planning a big deposit, check your limits in the Grab app first, or just use a bank transfer.
How to deposit with GrabPay at a casino, step by step
- Top up GrabPay first in the Grab app, from your card or bank account. Make sure the balance covers the bonus minimum at your chosen casino.
- Register with your real name. Your casino account name must match your bank account name, because winnings are paid to your bank, not to Grab.
- Pick the bonus the way that casino wants. DK88 asks you to choose the welcome offer on the sign-up screen. At Maxim88, GOD55 and BK8, deposit to the Main Wallet, then pick the promo code when you transfer funds to a game wallet. At MD88, claim the offer on the Promotions page before you start playing.
- Open Deposit and choose GrabPay or “E-wallet”. At MD88, GrabPay is processed through the OK2Pay and FPay gateways.
- Enter the amount and follow the on-screen steps. Usually you scan a QR code with the Grab app or approve the payment in the app.
- Keep the transaction receipt until your casino balance updates.
Durian tip: At Maxim88, the 288% bonus is only given if you pick it from the promo code list when you transfer funds. At DK88, the 588% package must be chosen on the sign-up screen, and there’s no second chance. Miss this step and you play without a bonus, so don’t skip it ah.
Withdrawals: your winnings go to your bank account
At these casinos, GrabPay is for deposits only. When it’s time to withdraw, the money is sent to a bank account in your name. Here are the rules at each casino:
- DK88: 0–24 hours after approval. DK88 can hold withdrawals until your account is verified, and the daily limit isn’t published on its public pages.
- Maxim88: Maxim88’s FAQ says 24 hours to 7 days depending on the method, but one player on casino.guru reported the money arriving in 10 minutes. The standard limit is RM30,000 a day, and the T&Cs ask for photo ID before a withdrawal.
- BK8: processed within 25 minutes according to BK8’s FAQ, then it depends on your bank. BK8 may ask for a copy of your IC and a bank statement before processing a withdrawal.
- GOD55: bank transfer, within a few minutes according to GOD55. The Bronze group’s daily win cap is RM30,000.
- AW8: 15 minutes to 24 hours, up to RM30,000 a day by bank.
- MD88: 5–15 minutes, from RM50. You must turn your deposit over at least once before you withdraw.

GrabPay, Boost or Touch ’n Go?
All three are e-wallets, but not every casino accepts all three:
| E-wallet | Casinos on our list |
|---|---|
| GrabPay | DK88, Maxim88, BK8, GOD55, AW8, MD88 |
| Boost | DK88, Maxim88, BK8, GOD55, AW8, MD88 |
| Touch ’n Go | Seven casinos (all except Megapari), including UWIN33 |
If you’re keen on UWIN33 for its low turnover (15x deposit + bonus on slots) or its RM10 free credit, use Touch ’n Go, DuitNow or FPX. For bigger deposits, a bank transfer is usually more practical than an e-wallet: see our bank transfer casinos. And if bonus terms are new to you, our wagering guide explains how to count turnover in two minutes.
