Quick verdict
Super Ace is one of JILI’s most successful slots, and it’s easy to see why. It takes the cards everyone knows (Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks and the four suits) and drops them onto a 5x4 grid with 1,024 ways to win, cascading wins and a combo multiplier that climbs every time the cascade keeps going. Then come the Golden Cards, which flip into Joker wilds and keep the chain alive. JILI’s game page lists it as published in August 2020, and it’s still one of the first tiles you’ll see in a JILI lobby.
Play it if you like:
- A 97% RTP, comfortably above the usual 96%
- Quick, chain-reaction spins where one win can lead to three or four more
- A free spins round where every multiplier is doubled, up to x10
Skip it if you only chase huge single hits. Super Ace is a low-to-medium volatility game built for steady action rather than lottery-style jackpots.
Our score: 4/5 durians, Premium. It’s simple, fast and generous on RTP, which is exactly why it has stayed a lobby favourite.
How to play Super Ace
- Set your stake. Bet steps depend on your casino and currency, so open the bet menu at your MYR, PHP or SGD casino before your first spin.
- Spin the 5x4 grid. There are no paylines. You win with matching cards on adjacent reels, starting from reel 1, and with 1,024 ways, a card that lands in several rows can pay several times over.
- Watch the cascade. Winning cards are cleared, new ones fall into the gaps, and the game checks for new wins. The chain only stops when a cascade produces nothing.
- Follow the combo meter. Every new win in the same chain pushes the multiplier up a step.
Symbols and paytable highlights
Every symbol is a playing card. The Ace is the top symbol, paying 0.5x, 1.5x and 2.5x your bet for 3, 4 and 5 of a kind. Kings, Queens and Jacks follow, and the four card suits form the low-paying tier. With 1,024 ways, an Ace landing in several rows pays every combination it completes, and the combo multiplier then multiplies the lot.
The special symbols are the scatter, which triggers free spins, and the Joker wilds that come out of Golden Cards. Tap the info button in-game for the exact paytable at your stake.
Golden Cards and Jokers: the core mechanic
This is what separates Super Ace from a standard card slot.
Golden Cards
- Golden versions of regular cards can land on reels 2, 3 and 4, in the base game and in free spins.
- When a Golden Card is part of a win, it doesn’t disappear. It flips on its position and turns into a Joker for the next cascade.
- The Joker is a wild and substitutes for the regular cards, so the next cascade starts with a wild already in place on the middle reels. That makes another win, and another combo step, more likely.
Big Joker vs Little Joker
Not every Joker is equal:
- Little Joker turns only its own position into a wild.
- Big Joker does that and turns 1 to 4 random cards on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 into wilds as well.
A Big Joker in the middle of a chain is the moment Super Ace players wait for. Several extra wilds across four reels on a 1,024-ways grid can produce a lot of winning combinations at once, and that happens while the combo multiplier is already climbing.
The combo multiplier
Every win that cascades into another win builds the combo multiplier:
| Win in the chain | Base game | Free spins |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | x1 | x2 |
| 2nd | x2 | x4 |
| 3rd | x3 | x6 |
| 4th and beyond | x5 | x10 |
In plain words: your first win of a spin pays at face value, and each cascade win after it pays more, up to x5 (or x10 in free spins) for every further win in that chain. When the cascades stop and the base-game spin ends, the multiplier resets to x1.
Free spins
Triggering: land 3 or more scatters to win 10 free spins.
What changes: the combo multiplier ladder is doubled to x2, x4, x6 and x10, so every win in the round pays at least twice its paytable value. Golden Cards and Jokers keep working as normal.
Retriggers: 3 scatters during the round add 5 more free spins, and there’s no limit on how many times that can happen.
Free spins are where Super Ace’s bigger wins live: a long chain with a couple of Jokers on the grid pays twice what the same chain would in the base game.
RTP and volatility, explained plainly
The RTP is 97%. Over millions of spins, the game pays back about 97 for every 100 staked, which is a house edge of 3%. Over one session, though, anything can happen, and the RTP doesn’t make any single spin more likely to win. JILI doesn’t print the RTP on its public game page, but 97% is the figure the big slot databases list, and the JILI lobby tiles we captured in the Philippines show 97 next to Super Ace. Always confirm in the game’s info screen, because the version your casino runs is the one that counts. More in our RTP and RNG guide.
Volatility is low-to-medium (JILI rates it “LOW-MED”). Expect plenty of small hits and cascades, with fewer of the long dead stretches you get on high-volatility slots. That makes Super Ace a good fit for smaller budgets. Think in spins: 200 spins at 0.50 is 100, which is enough to see the combo meter climb many times and give free spins a fair chance to land. Our slot volatility guide shows how to size a session.
Max win: what the 10,000x figure means
JILI’s official game page lists Super Ace’s max win as 10,000x your bet. Several long-standing review databases quote 1,500x instead. We go with JILI’s own figure, but the in-game rules screen is the final word for the version your casino runs, so check it if the cap matters to you.
Whatever the cap, the route to the top is the same. You need free spins, a chain that reaches the x10 step, and Golden Cards turning into Jokers (ideally a Big Joker) so that Aces and Kings connect across many of the 1,024 ways at once. On a low-to-medium volatility game that’s a rare event, and most of your wins will be far smaller.
Tips that actually help
No strategy beats a slot. A random number generator (RNG) decides every spin, and past spins don’t make the next one “due”. These tips won’t change the maths, but they help your money last:
- Check the RTP line first. Open the info screen in real-money mode and confirm 97%. If it shows a lower number, that’s the version your casino runs.
- Try the demo if your casino has one. A few minutes shows you how often cascades chain and how Golden Cards behave.
- Pick a stake that gives you 200+ spins. Super Ace rewards time on the reels, because free spins and long cascade chains need spins to show up.
- Set a loss limit and a win target before you start, and stop when you hit either one.
- Read bonus terms before you claim. Welcome bonuses come with wagering and usually a max-bet rule while the bonus is active. Our wagering guide explains how to check whether an offer is worth taking.
Mobile play
Super Ace is built for phones. JILI’s game page previews it for desktop and portrait-mode mobile, so it plays in Chrome or Safari on Android and iPhone and inside casino apps. The big card symbols are easy to read on a small screen, and quick spins suit a few minutes of play at a time.
Why Super Ace is huge in the Philippines and Malaysia
Super Ace has become one of JILI’s signature games across Southeast Asia, and you can see it in the lobbies themselves. On one Philippine casino homepage we captured, Super Ace sat in the “Hot” JILI row next to Money Coming and Fortune Gems. On another, sorted by popularity, it landed in the first rows beside Sugar Rush 1000 and Fortune Gems 3. JILI has also built a whole family around it, with Super Ace Deluxe, Super Ace Joker and Super Ace Scratch on its official game list, and studios rarely make that many spin-offs of a game nobody plays.
The appeal makes sense. The card theme is instantly familiar to anyone who grew up with tongits, pusoy or a deck at family gatherings. The 97% RTP and low-to-medium volatility suit small, mobile-first sessions. Malaysian players will find JILI next to Mega888 and 918Kiss in most of the local lobbies we review (see our Mega888 guide and 918Kiss guide). Some international review sites list the game under the TaDa Gaming name, so don’t be confused if you see it there.
If you like this, try these
- Fortune Gems: JILI’s other classic, a 3x3 gem slot with a 1x to 15x multiplier reel and the same 97% RTP.
- Sweet Bonanza: if you love the cascades, Pragmatic Play’s tumble classic adds multiplier bombs in free spins.
- Gates of Olympus: tumbles plus random multipliers, with much higher volatility.
Where to play Super Ace
The box on this page lists the casinos we review that carry JILI, with their current offers. JILI is in the lobbies of every casino we review in Malaysia and of BC.Game, BK8 and Megapari in the Philippines, and you can compare them on our JILI casinos in Malaysia and JILI casinos in the Philippines pages.
Before you deposit: search the lobby for “Super Ace” (not Super Ace Deluxe or Super Ace 2 unless that’s what you want), open the info screen and check the RTP line. Read the bonus terms too, because max-bet rules apply while a bonus is active.
You must be 21 or older. Check your local laws before you play and set deposit limits. See our responsible gambling page.
Final verdict
Super Ace proves a slot doesn’t need a complicated story to keep players coming back. Cascades, Golden Cards that flip into Jokers, a combo multiplier that climbs with every chain and a free spins round that doubles everything make it a fast, readable game with a 97% RTP behind it. It won’t deliver the giant swings of a high-volatility Pragmatic slot. If you want steady action on a sensible budget with a real shot at a big free spins chain, though, Super Ace has earned its place at the top of the JILI lobby. Check the RTP, set your limits, and see how far the combo meter goes.
