What Ultra Lotto 6/58 is
Ultra Lotto 6/58 is the biggest lotto run by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). You pick six numbers from 1 to 58 for ₱25 a line, and if all six come up you win the jackpot. With 58 balls instead of the 55 in Grand Lotto, it’s PCSO’s hardest lotto to win, which is exactly why it produces the biggest pots.
The jackpot starts at ₱75 million and rolls over until somebody hits it. Match fewer numbers and you can still win: five and four numbers share prize pools, and three numbers pays a fixed ₱100.
The jackpot right now, and the records
Ultra Lotto had not been won since 12 Jun 2026. On 29 Sep 2026, Philstar reported the estimated jackpot for the next draw at ₱345 million, more than four times the ₱75 million starting level. Earlier in September it had been tipped to pass ₱258 million.
The all-time records:
- ₱1,180,622,508 on 14 Oct 2018, split by two bettors.
- ₱571,554,916.40 on 29 Dec 2023, the biggest win by a single bettor (GMA News).
Odds and prizes: how the pools work
The odds are pure counting: there are 40,475,358 ways to choose 6 numbers from 58. These are our own combinatorics for one line:
- 6 numbers (jackpot): 1 in 40,475,358.
- 5 numbers: about 1 in 129,729.
- 4 numbers: about 1 in 2,035.
- 3 numbers: about 1 in 92.
The 5- and 4-number prizes aren’t fixed. All the winners in each tier share a pool: ₱1.5M for five numbers and ₱1.4M for four. The more winners, the smaller each share.
What changed on 1 Feb 2026
PCSO raised ticket prices and minimum jackpots on 1 Feb 2026:
| Before 1 Feb 2026 | From 1 Feb 2026 | |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket price (all major lottos) | ₱20 | ₱25 |
| Ultra Lotto 6/58 minimum jackpot | ₱49.5M | ₱75M |
| Grand Lotto 6/55 minimum jackpot | ₱30M | ₱45M |
These figures come from Wikipedia, which cites PCSO, cross-checked against GMA and Philstar draw reports. PCSO’s own site was unreachable from our network, so confirm on pcso.gov.ph before you rely on them.
Worked example: the 29 Sep 2026 draw
Here’s what the pool system paid on a real draw, 29 Sep 2026:
- 5 numbers: four bettors shared the ₱1.5M pool, so each won ₱375,000. After the 20% tax on prizes over ₱10,000, each takes home ₱300,000.
- 4 numbers: 659 bettors shared the ₱1.4M pool, so each won ₱2,124.43. That’s under ₱10,000, so it’s paid in full.
- 3 numbers: a flat ₱100 per winning line, also untaxed.
Now the dream scenario. If one ticket had hit the estimated ₱345 million jackpot, the 20% tax would take ₱69 million, leaving about ₱276 million. Not bad for ₱25, at 1 in 40,475,358.

How to buy Ultra Lotto officially
There are two official ways to play:
- PCSO lotto outlets. Fill in a betting slip or ask for random numbers, pay ₱25 a line, and keep your ticket safe: it’s your proof of purchase.
- PCSO’s E-Lotto platform. PCSO began a test run of an online E-Lotto service on 15 Dec 2023. We couldn’t confirm its current status because pcso.gov.ph was unreachable from our network, so check there first.
Watch out for look-alike domains. pcso-elotto.com.ph is a parked page, not PCSO, and thelotter.ph and thelotter.com.ph are ad-parking pages, not theLotter.
How to play online from the Philippines
If you want lottery action on your phone beyond the PCSO counter, these are the options we list for Philippine players:
- BK8 has a peso account and a Lottery tab with Youbetlotto’s lotto games in the 6/42 to 6/58 formats, 2D to 6D, and quick draws every 1, 3 or 5 minutes. They’re BK8’s provider games, not PCSO tickets. Its 100% welcome (up to ₱5,000 at 12x deposit + bonus) counts on lottery.
- BC.Game runs a peso balance with a Lottery tab (BC Lottery and international draws) and a provably fair Keno, plus up to 500% across your first 4 deposits from ₱200.
- theLotter is a ticket messenger: it buys official tickets on your behalf and scans them to your account. Its terms list PCSO Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49 and Mega Lotto 6/45 among its draws, and it also sells the big US jackpots such as Powerball and Mega Millions. Check that your country is accepted when you sign up.
- Winna is a crypto casino with no lotto draws, but its provably fair Keno is the closest instant number game: pick your numbers and get the result in seconds. There’s no welcome bonus; instead you get instant rakeback from your first bet and automatic entry into its $10,000 daily and $50,000 weekly races.
Picking Ultra Lotto numbers
Birthdays, anniversaries, plate numbers, random picks: every method has the same 1 in 40,475,358 chance, because each draw is random and past results don’t affect the next one. Our RNG and randomness guide explains why. The one thing number choice can change is how many people you’d share the jackpot with. Birthday numbers stop at 31, so lines using 32–58 tend to be less crowded.
Durian tip: With prizes over ₱10,000 taxed at 20%, think in after-tax numbers: a ₱375,000 five-number win is ₱300,000 in your pocket. And only buy from PCSO outlets or PCSO’s own platform, never from a look-alike “e-lotto” site.
